MEDISAFE was established through the European Union Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (EU CBRN CoE) Initiative to support the fight against falsified medicines in Eastern and Central Africa. The European Commission selected Expertise France to lead a consortium of 5 European partner organizations to implement the project in 11 partner countries and to coordinate joint efforts between a network of local and international experts.
